About the KNEC Results Checker

The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) is the official examination body in Kenya responsible for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE), the Kenya Primary School Education Assessment (KPSEA), and the Kenya Junior School Education Assessment (KJSEA). Use this portal to check your provisional examination results for any year between 2000 and 2025 by entering your index number and registered name.

How to check KCSE results online

  1. Select the examination type (KCSE, KPSEA or KJSEA).
  2. Choose the year you sat for the examination.
  3. Enter your index number exactly as printed on your slip.
  4. Enter your registered name and tap “View Results”.
